‘Improving service provision for diverse ethnic communities across Nottinghamshire’
Context
NAVO is organising the Nottinghamshire Race and Ethnicity Independent Equality Advisory Group, which launched in June 2008. Members from community groups and voluntary sector organisations who represent diverse ethnic communities of Nottinghamshire were invited to meet on a quarterly basis to participate in quality consultation with Nottinghamshire County Council. At the same time the forum provided a platform for building capacity of its members, exchanging information and networking.
